This app was built for people carrying real things. What you share here is sacred. We have tried to build a space worthy of that trust — and this policy reflects that commitment honestly.
What you share stays with you

Your words, reflections, saved verses, duas, and moments are stored securely in your personal account. Only you can access them. Not us. Not anyone else.

Row Level Security is enabled on every table that holds your personal data. This is a technical guarantee — not just a promise.

How your words are used

When you share something with Tawakkul, your words are sent to Anthropic's AI (Claude) to generate your response — the Hold, the verse, the story, and the direction.

This is what allows the response to speak to your specific situation rather than giving you a generic answer. Without this, the app cannot work.

Anthropic processes this privately. According to their policy, API interactions are not used to train their AI models. You can read their full privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.

What we collect
What we never do
Where your data is stored

Your data is stored on Supabase — a secure, encrypted database platform. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Supabase's infrastructure follows industry-standard security practices.

Your rights

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time by using "Start completely fresh" in Settings, or by contacting us directly.

You can export your saved reflections at any time — we are working on making this easier.

Children

Tawakkul is intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes to how we handle your data, we will notify you within the app. We will never make changes that reduce your privacy without telling you.
