These terms exist to protect you and to keep Tawakkul a safe, sincere space. We have written them as plainly as we can.
What Tawakkul is

Tawakkul is a spiritual companion app for Muslims navigating everyday life and difficult seasons. It offers Quranic verses, hadith, prophet stories, duas, and AI-generated reflections rooted in Islamic tradition.

Tawakkul is not a substitute for professional mental health care, medical advice, or religious rulings (fatwas). If you are in crisis, please seek professional support.

Using the app
Our content

The Quran verses, hadith, and prophet stories in Tawakkul are from verified, authentic Islamic sources. We take care with every source and do not invent, distort, or paraphrase sacred texts.

AI-generated responses (the Hold, Direction, and connections to your situation) are produced by Anthropic's Claude. They are intended to offer comfort and reflection — not religious rulings or certainty about Allah's will.

We never say "Allah is telling you…" or "Allah wants you to…" The app offers reminders and reflections. What you do with them is between you and Allah.

Your content

What you share remains yours. You retain full ownership of everything you write in Tawakkul. We do not claim any rights over your words.

By using the app, you give us permission to process your shares through Anthropic's AI to generate your response — as described in our Privacy Policy.

Availability

We aim to keep Tawakkul available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance or updates. We will try to give notice when possible.

Changes

We may update these terms as the app grows. We will notify you of meaningful changes within the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
